About Fafard^®

Our passion for supporting serious growers all started with our founder, Conrad Fafard. He planted the first seeds of Conrad Fafard, Inc. in the 1920s when he began selling the finest imported peat moss to local farmers.

Today Fafard^® provides superior professional and retail potting mixes, peat moss, and amendments for growers and gardeners across the eastern United States. Our retail line includes a variety of planting mixes for indoor and outdoor gardening as well as amendments to enrich gardens and fortify landscapes. Some of our products are OMRI Listed for organic gardening.

Fafard has been based in Agawam, Massachusetts since its founding. As of June 11, 2012, Fafard^® has operated as a subsidiary of Sun Gro Horticulture.
